TravelCert provides organisations with an easy way to manage their group travel administration and to provide accurate data to insurers. The following is the most frequently asked questions:

What is TravelCert?

TravelCert has been optimised for Android and iOS devices and can be downloaded via Google Play and Apple Store either on your device or from your desktop.

Users of other device types can utilise the online form via the website http://travelcert.ajg.com.

How do I access TravelCert?

The TravelCert website can be accessed via this link: https://travelcert.ajg.com/#/activation

How do I download the TravelCert mobile app?

You can download the TravelCert mobile app via GooglePlay for Android or the Apple Store. Search for TravelCert.

How do I find my Activation Code?

Your Activation Code is available via your organisation’s insurance office. You can find these details via your organisation’s intranet or website.
Alternatively, once you enter your organisation’s name into the “Organisation” field you can contact your insurance office via the “Forgot Passcode” link. This will generate an email to your organisation’s insurance office.

How do I contact my insurance office?

Your organisation’s insurance office details should be available to you via their website or intranet. Alternatively, once you enter your organisation’s name into the “Organisation” field you can contact your insurance office via the “Forgot Passcode” link. This will generate an email to your organisation’s insurance office.

How much will TravelCert cost?

TravelCert is provided by your organisation to provide an administration tool for their group travel insurance. There is no charge to you as a user of TravelCert.

How much will travel insurance cost?

Your organisation has purchased a group travel insurance policy. As long as your travel is within the scope of this travel insurance policy there is no cost to you. To check that your travel is within the scope of your organisation’s policy please contact your organisation’s insurance office.

Will TravelCert provide me with travel insurance?

No. TravelCert provides an easy way for you to supply your travel details to your insurance office and receive a cover note for your trip, providing that the information you have submitted complies with your organisation’s travel insurance policy. Your organisation’s insurance office can provide you with more details about the insurance company that provides the cover and full policy details.

Is TravelCert my insurer?

No. TravelCert is a tool which provides an easy way for you to supply your travel details to your insurance office and receive a cover note for your trip, providing that the information you have submitted complies with your organisation’s travel insurance policy. Your organisation’s insurance office can provide you with more details about the insurance company that provides the cover and full policy details.

Who is Arthur J. Gallagher?

Arthur J. Gallagher is the insurance broker that arranges and administers travel insurance for your organisation.

How do I cancel a trip?

If you have registered a trip that you no longer plan to make, please contact your insurance office with details. Your organisation’s insurance office contact details are included in the confirmation email you would have received once your trip was successfully registered on TravelCert.

How do I amend trip details?

Amendments cannot be made once a trip has been submitted. You must cancel your original trip (as described above) and create a new one.

Where can I find full travel insurance policy details?

Full details of your organisation travel insurance policy are available from your organisation’s insurance office (see “How do I contact my insurance office”).

Where can I find my organisation’s travel policy terms and conditions?

Your organisation’s insurance office (see  “How do I contact my insurance office”) can provide full details of any specific travel policy terms and conditions.

I am travelling to more than one destination, can I still log my trip details?

Yes. TravelCert has a multi-destination facility, please follow the instructions on screen when completing a new trip.

I have entered my details but my trip has not been logged. What should I do?

If you have not received confirmation details for your trip, please re-enter details. If you still do not received confirmation from TravelCert then please contact your insurance office (see “How do I contact my insurance office”) to check that details have been sent to them.

What do I do if I have an emergency or need assistance whilst travelling?

Within TravelCert there are emergency contact details, information about how to access medical / emergency assistance, travel information and the ability to provide emergency contact details in case your organisation needs to get in touch with someone on your behalf.

Are there any countries I cannot travel to?

Yes. Your organisation may have imposed restrictions on travel to certain countries or areas. TravelCert will not allow you to log travel to a restricted territory and will alert your insurance office if you attempt to do so. Contact your insurance office (see “How do I contact my insurance office”) for more information about which territories may be restricted.

Where can I find travel advice?

Within Travel Cert there is a link to online travel advice and information via TravelGuard, a service provided by your organisation’s insurer. You will need to log in to TravelGuard using the policy number shown on your travel cover note. If you do not have a cover note, please contact your insurance office (see “How do I contact my insurance office”) to request the relevant policy number.
