The regional team of Arthur J. Gallagher in South Wales has been named an ‘Employer of the Year’ at the Inspire! Adult Learning Awards 2017 in recognition of its continued commitment to delivering excellence in education and training.

With Gallagher now numbering approximately 165 colleagues across Wales, our team was named Small Employer of the Year - a category open to all those based in Wales with fewer than 250 employees.

The team, led by Regional Managing Director Mike Jones, accepted the award on Thursday 15 June at the Inspire! Adult Learning Awards ceremony at City Hall, Cardiff.

Significant growth within Gallagher’s South Wales operations over the past five years has been underpinned by the success of an apprenticeship programme that drives continuous technical and interpersonal development. This has helped ensure the consistent delivery of first-class customer service, which in turn leads to great customer retention and sustained organic growth.

Mike Jones said: “We’re delighted to have won this Inspire! Award. Our commitment to enhancing the skills, qualifications and recognition of our colleagues has directly contributed to improved customer service and retention. It has given us a professional, qualified, loyal workforce, allowing us the stability and confidence to keep investing in our growth aspirations.”

Congratulations to the whole team on your well-deserved recognition.
