Risk Management Training
Health & Safety training doesn’t just make a big difference to the frequency of incidents and accidents in the workplace. Teaching your people to do it right and do it once can also improve overall productivity and efficiency.
That’s why we’ve teamed up with the Institute of Safety and Health (IOSH) and the UK Asbestos Training Association (UKATA) to offer a range of training courses that will help you lower the risks your people face and reduce the risk profile and exposure for your business and keep you the right side of regulation.
- IOSH Health and Safety Training: IOSH-approved, Managing Safely and Working Safely gives your managers, supervisors and staff the skills they need to understand the risks and run effective Health & Safety programmes. Running over three and one day respectively, these overview risk assessment, risk control, hazard identification, waste and pollution protection, accident and incident investigation – plus performance measurement. It’s the easy way to embed a safety-led culture in your business.
- UKATA Approved Asbestos Training:. From electricians and plumbers to engineers, shop fitters and all points in between, it’s a legal requirement that any of your people who may come across asbestos as part of their job has to have received asbestos awareness training that is refreshed regularly. We are one of only a few national Risk Management and Insurance Advisers accredited as an asbestos trainer by UKATA and are fully compliant with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012. UKATA-recognised certification from this half-day course lasts for one year and bi-annual refresher courses are available too in line with many trade body requirements such as the B&ES.
