Bill Grierson
Executive Chairman, SBA Gallagher

Bill has over 30 years’ experience of broking, underwriting and risk management, predominantly handling larger energy, resource and corporate accounts.

Born in Canada, he worked for a number of companies, including Marsh and Stenhouse, before moving to Australia in 1981. He then worked for the insurance subsidiary of a major US bank, as well as JLT and Aon, before teaming up with another colleague to effect a management buyout of Heath Fielding’s Western Australia office.

He subsequently set up SBA Gallagher in Perth, together with the other founding shareholders, where he now holds the position of Executive Chairman, and is the designated Account Director or Alternate for many significant clients.
