Scott Heighington

Scott has more than 15 years’ industry experience, and specialises in property and casualty placements for the energy community, specifically exploration/production, energy service and oils and related operations. He has developed expertise in the design, negotiation and management of sophisticated energy insurance programs worldwide.

He is currently responsible for the leadership and development of Gallagher’s Calgary office and ambassador to the local energy community. He also provides account management and marketing services to energy clientele.

He started his insurance career with Aon Reed Stenhouse Inc., where he was Senior Vice President, providing account management and marketing services to large oil, gas and energy service companies. He was also the leader of Aon’s Regional Energy practice in Calgary.
