- Gallagher sponsors IMI to demonstrate commitment to Automotive professionalism
Arthur J. Gallagher announces sponsorship of Institute of the Motor Industry
The Automotive practice of Arthur J. Gallagher has entered a new sponsorship with the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI), to demonstrate its commitment to ensuring consumers continue to benefit from the highest level of professionalism, skills and ethical behaviour from the automotive industry.
The automotive retail sector is of huge importance to the UK economy — employing 750,000 people and accounting for £155 billion a year. As a professional body focused on driving up and maintaining technical standards through registration, the IMI aims to work with employers and individuals in the sector to provide help and solutions that improve their effectiveness and profitability while delivering value for consumers. It also works to champion the industry in Westminster, to ensure the sector receives support and funding to help it develop and succeed.
As well as becoming a membership card sponsor, Gallagher’s Automotive practice is currently exploring opportunities to work more closely with the IMI on a number of initiatives for its members, details of which will be announced in due course.
Leon Bosch, Managing Director of Automotive at Arthur J. Gallagher, commented: “We’re proud to become a sponsor of the IMI and have the Gallagher name on its membership cards as one of the leading professional bodies in the automotive sector.
“We share the same values as the IMI – to ensure businesses have the support they need, and protection in place, to run their business successfully. We have some exciting ideas for its members, to help lend our expertise, and we look forward to working with the IMI to bring these plans into fruition.”
