Gallagher hosts the Challenge of the Supreme Cork III FOO
Gallagher’s annual challenge of the Supreme Cork event took place last night with over 250 colleagues from across the legal community in attendance.
Taking place at Skinner’s Hall, the home to the Skinners’ Company who represent one of the ‘Great Twelve’ livery companies of London, the event marks a key event in the calendar of our Dispute Resolution Practice.
With competitors entering from across law practices, barristers chambers, litigation funders and members of the press, the competition was fierce over which firm would take home the bragging rights and the coveted Gallagher Decanter.
Last year’s winners, DAC Beachcroft were gunning to retain the trophy for the second year running but the final leaderboard read as follows:
1. Stewarts Law LLP
2. Herbert Smith Freehills LLP
3. Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP
Our Practice Leader, Alan Pratten was on hand as master of ceremonies, seen below presenting Stewarts Law LLP with their prize.
Many guests last evening were keen to hear more about our varied dispute resolution insurance solutions including, After-the-event (ATE), security for costs, cross-undertakings in damages (CUDI), Appeal protection and enforcement risk insurance.
