Arthur J. Gallagher’s specialist broker Insure4Retirement has been singled out for its excellence in employee support and engagement, winning the ‘People Engagement Award’ at the South West Contact Centre Forum Awards.

The People Engagement Award is given to businesses that can demonstrate how they always put their people first, promote team engagement and look after the health and well-being of their employees. Winning the award is testament to the consistent hard work and achievements of the Insure4Retirement team in devising and successfully implementing new initiatives in this area. Over the past two years, their efforts have improved retention levels, employee satisfaction and overall engagement.

The achievements of two individual members of its team — Alice Henwood and Azizul Hussain — were also recognised by being shortlisted for Sales Agent of the Year and Newcomer of the Year respectively.

Held at the Ashton Gate Stadium, Bristol, on Thursday 29 June, and hosted by comedian Jimmy Carr, the awards recognised and celebrated key achievements of both individuals and companies across the contact centre industry. Organised by the SWCCF — which delivers support to more than 250 employers in the region who collectively represent around 52,000 people in the private and public sector — the awards programme culminated in the ceremony which was attended by around 500 representatives from contact centres across the South West.

James Collins, Managing Director of Insure4Retirement, commented after the team collected the award: “We are absolutely delighted to win the SWCCF award for People Engagement. Over the past two years, Insure4Retirement has been on a real journey having pinpointed that our success would flow from putting our people at the heart of everything we do, just as much as our customers.

“Having launched a range of initiatives over that period, which are now delivering great results for our people and the business, I’m so pleased that all the hard work by the team has been externally recognised by winning this award. We are also immensely proud of Alice and Azi for being finalists in their individual categories against some very strong competition. A fantastic team effort all round!”
