Gallagher makes it six years straight for ethical distinction award
Arthur J. Gallagher has been recognised as a 2017 World’s Most Ethical Company® — the only insurance broker awarded this distinction.
Today’s announcement from the independent Ethisphere Institute — whose Ethics Quotient (EQ) framework offers a quantitative means of assessing company performance in an objective, consistent and standardised way — saw Gallagher honoured for the sixth consecutive year.
As the only insurance broker to be awarded this designation, the award underlines Gallagher’s continued commitment to embrace, advance and lead on embedding ethical business standards and practices.
Gallagher Chairman, President and CEO J. Patrick Gallagher Jr today spoke of how the company is “deeply honoured” to be recognised once again.
Grahame Chilton, Arthur J. Gallagher International CEO, commented: “Openness and honesty is core to the Gallagher culture and our standards of ethics, accountability and customer-first mentality drive our high performance and success just as much as financial targets. For that reason we’re remarkably proud to once again be recognised as one of the world’s most ethical companies. This is an award we value strongly, as do our customers for whom such credentials are increasingly important.”
